Membership

PTA membership and dues support your child by funding essential educational and curriculum needs; advocating on behalf of children and educators at the local, state and national levels; and building an inclusive school community for all families.

I invite you to join PTA for your child because increasing our membership, by even one, makes it possible to provide important educational resources, speak up on important issues and create a stronger school community. There is no wrong or right way to be involved - anything you can give, whether it's time or money, will support your child's potential.

Please join online in our Kennedy PTA MemberHub store by purchasing a membership. Membership is $15 per year. This includes your Kennedy PTA annual dues as well as your membership for the North Dakota PTA and National PTA. Please consider joining - its a great way to get involved in your child's (children's) education.

Reflections

The 2022-23 Reflections art theme is "Show Your Voice!"

For 50 years, National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2022-2023 program year is Show Your Voice!

Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories. Nationally these are: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. Student entries are divided into two age categories: Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd through 5th grade. Entries are then judged and submitted to the state PTA office.

Kennedy PTA encourages all Comets to take part in the 20212-23 competition. Look for details in the fall! For more information about Reflections at Kennedy, contact us at ReflectionsKennedyPTA@gmail.com.

EARN REWARDS FOR YOUR SCHOOL WHILE YOU SHOP!

This past school year we raised over $1500 by collecting what could have been thrown away. Join us in collecting Box Tops for Education, Coke codes, School Rewards points and AmazonSmile donations. Spread the word to your friends, family and coworkers! It's an easy way to raise funds for activities and enrichment for Kennedy's students, families and teachers.

Any questions? Email: kennedypta@gmail.com

Box Tops for Education has gone digital!

To help our school, download the new Box Tops for Education app on your smartphone. Use the app to scan a photo of your receipt within 14 days of purchase and the Box Tops will be automatically added to the school earnings at BTFE.com. Get your family and friends involved and spread the word!

Box Tops clips on packages are being phased out of production but may still be found on many products throughout the store as packages transition to the new Box Tops labels. Please continue to clip any traditional Box Tops you find and send to school. Don't forget to scan your receipt to double the earnings for our school during this transition!

  • Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchase to the charitable organization of your choice.

  • AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service.

  • Support Kennedy Elementary PTA by shopping at smile.amazon.com
